Washington D.C.- President Donald Trump’s answer to the letter of Speaker Pelosi (D-Calif.) urging him to delay the State of the Union Address, postponing her upcoming trip to Europe and the Middle East, caused a big stir in Washington today.

“@RealDonaldTrump's response to @SpeakerPelosi shows just how petty and pathetic he really is. The President of the United States is acting like a #manbaby. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of public servants are working without pay because of the President's government shutdown.” Said Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich).

“I am glad the Speaker wants to meet our troops and hear from our commanders and allies. I am very disappointed she’s playing politics with the State of the Union,” wrote Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) in his Twitter account.

“President Trump denying Speaker Pelosi military travel to visit our troops in Afghanistan, our allies in Egypt and NATO is also inappropriate,” added Graham.

“A WH official has told the WH pool that Trump's move is 'not a response' to Pelosi. Fact check: Yeah right,”, wrote Jim Acosta, CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent.

“WH aide seen running from @SpeakerPelosi car after apparently putting sugar in her gas tank and letting air out of her right rear tire,” wrote David Axelrod, a CNN Senior Political Commentator.

“Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative,” wrote Sean Hannity, a Fox News Channel TV Host.
